Aotearoa!
No. It ain't the word for hello or a Maori slang for wow!
Have I been transported to a Lord of the Rings set? Aotearoa
is the original name of New Zealand before Abel van Tasman
and Captain James Cook mapped the 15,000 sq km of coastline.
Aotearoa, or the land of the long white cloud as the Polynesians
preferred to call it, is nothing but the gorgeous island country
of New Zealand. Its present and more urban friendly name has
been derived from the Dutch explorer Tasman's homeland in
Zeeland, a quaint province in Netherlands.

same name; and landscapes in vivid colors that'll even make
the rainbow smile; its no wonder that your friends claim that
