Later in February of 1840 Auckland was resettled by the Governor of New Zealand and was declared as a Capital City. Though later in 1865 it lost its capital status to Wellington it continued to grow.
Auckland houses world’s largest Polynesian Population. It has a population of over 1.3 Million People which is about a Quarter of North Island’s Population.
Auckland is found along an Isthmus between Two Harbors situated at the North of New Zealand. It has Pacific Ocean towards its East and Tasman Sea towards its West.
