Mount Aspiring National Park
Mount Aspiring National Park lies at the southern end of the Southern Alps. Its vivacious landscapes make it a hiker's haven. Established in 1964 it is a wonderful blend of Wilds, Sky-Scraping Peaks and Stunning River Basins. The place is a weakness for mountaineers.
Park extends from Haast River towards the north to The Humbolt Mountains. Mount Aspiring National Park is a part of Te Wahipounamu which is The World Heritage Area. The reserve is governed and managed by New Zealand's Department of Conservation.
